I am a 43 year old Administrative Technician from the City of Compton. I originally met my Acupuncturist, Mitra, through my doctor’s office as a result of a work related injury and work related stress. I had been treated by a Chiropractor as well as massage therapy for my pain. I was also on pain medication however nothing seemed to help. I was very reluctant to go through with acupuncture because of the fact that I had never had it done and I was extremely scared of the idea that I was going to be stuck with needles. I was scared and almost left the office without treatment however Mitra assured me that she would not hurt me. On my very first treatment I was treated for my neck and back. As I lay down, she placed the needles accordingly and told me she would be back to check on me in 20 minutes. I asked her if the needles were in and she said yes! I never even felt it! After the treatment I told her that I could do this and looked forward to my treatments every week! It was amazing how much better I felt after each treatment. I would go in with neck, back, shoulder, hand and wrist pain and when she completed the part of my body she was doing that day I did not experience any pain at all! Not only was the acupuncture a successful treatment, Mitra was so comforting and soothing, she made everything all right! The doctor’s office where she was working closed down; therefore I could no longer receive treatment. I was so happy to hear she has her own office because even though I did not have to pay due to the fact that it was a work related I have no problems paying now because I know I am guaranteed to feel better!
Mitra is very caring and takes great pride in helping to make you feel better. I would recommend her to anyone! Acupuncture is something I was always afraid of and never believed in, but thanks to Mitra I feel like myself again!

Dr. Mitra has been an angel as I have been on my fertility journey!! I began seeing her after a failed IVF attempt, preparing for a second attempt. Based on her recommendation to change my diet, and having weekly sessions with her before my 2nd attempt, my AMH levels improved to normal and I had lost 20 lbs all within 2 months time. I believe her help allowed for a successful 2nd IVF procedure, and I am well into my second trimester currently! She is very knowledgeable and extremely passionate about her patients and their experience. I would highly recommend her as a wonderful acupuncturist!

My husband and I had been trying to conceive for 7 months. I started seeing Mitra Daneshrad in November 2019 because at that time my cycles started becoming irregular. Before seeing a fertility specialist at the one year mark of trying or, taking any fertility medication we wanted to try an alternative approach. Fast forward to February 2020 and I just found out we're expecting! Thanks to Mitra and her knowledge and experience with infertility and acupuncture for helping us through our ttc journey. Mitra is extremely sweet and friendly and makes you feel super comfortable and relaxed. If you've ever questioned whether acupuncture works for infertility, I believe it does! I would definitely recommend Mitra to any couples who are struggling with trying to conceive.

I was initially referred to Dr. Mitra for lower back and sciatica pain related to a herniated disc. Her weekly treatments offered relief as well as a feeling of rejuvenation in my overall body. The added bonus of seeing Dr. Mitra is her extensive knowledge and experience with fertility and the female reproductive system. She not only worked on my back pain, but was also able to help with my cycle and any other issues that would come up for me such as nasal congestion. She is a great practitioner to have in one's overall health & wellness regimen.

Dr. Mitra is the absolute best! I was lucky enough to do Accupuncture sessions with her throughout my infertility struggles, pregnancy, birth of my miracle baby, post natal recovery and now as I try for my second!

Dr. Mitra Daneshrad is one of the best Acupuncture Doctor. I was struggling to get pregnant and after going with a lot of doctors, doing treatments nothing would seemed to work. My closed friend told me about this amazing doctor and i decided to give it a last try. I went ahead and she did me several acupuncture treatments and here i am now pregnant with twins. Dr Mitra is the BEST!!! She's literally transformed my life... for the better. I was housebound 3 years ago for 8 months with chronic problems and have been struggling ever since everyday with symptoms that were sometimes very draining to deal with. I was skeptical initially that someone would be able to help me heal, since I've been to so many doctors with no real shift. The first couple of treatments I felt a detox reaction from the acupuncture, which she helped balance with herbals- after this I have been dedicated 1-2x a week appointments with Dr Mitra and have seen a dramatic difference. My migraines have improved, debilitating pms symptoms including fainting and unbearable monthly cramps (I am now able to work the day of my period... HUGE), heart palpitations, gut issues, and the list goes on - all with great improvement. We continue to work on those areas that need that extra attention and I am confident in a few months I'll be feeling like a normal person again. She is also very kind, caring and she listens to you (which as you know is so important). The office staff are lovely and the space is super cozy, and peaceful. I highly recommend the sweet Dr Mitra.
